OpenSSO - getting started

Download

OpenSSO 8.0 Enterprise

Requisites

Apache Tomcat 6.0.18 or superior (other containers supported as well. This was the tested version)

Install

Unzip the distribution
Copy opensso/deployable-war/opensso.war to <tomcat_home>/webapps
Start tomcat
Access http://localhost:8080/opensso
Choose "Create Default Configuration"
Specify two different passwords for the amAdmin user and for UrlAccessManager

If everything goes well, the browser will be redirected to the login page

OpenSSO will create a folder <USER_HOME>/.openssocfg with the configuration

Creating a user

Go to the tab Access Control, then choose the default realm ("/"), and choose the tab "Subjects"
